Ingredients
Scale
1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
3/4 cup almond flour
2 ounces cream cheese
1 large egg
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon table salt
Oil spray or brush
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon finely grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine almond flour, oregano, garlic powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix in shredded mozzarella and cream cheese.
Microwave the mixture for 45 seconds, stir well, then microwave for another 45 seconds until melted and smooth. Stir in the egg until fully incorporated.
Cut the dough into 8 pieces, roll each into logs about 9 inches long, twist into knots, and place on the baking sheet.
Lightly brush the tops with oil and bake for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown.
For the garlic topping, microwave butter with minced garlic until melted. Brush over baked knots and sprinkle with parmesan before broiling for an additional minute.
