  • 8 oz rice noodles (or lo mein/udon)
  • 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • Sticky sauce: soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Toss the beef with cornstarch until coated.
  3. In a hot skillet or wok with vegetable oil, sear the beef for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned. Set aside.
  4. Stir-fry bell pepper and broccoli in the same skillet for 4–5 minutes; add green onions, garlic, and ginger for another minute.
  5. Whisk together the sticky sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet along with the cooked noodles and pour over the sauce. Toss to combine.
  7. Serve garnished with green onions.
