  • Sweet gem lettuce leaves
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • green onion (sliced, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, ginger, and garlic until smooth.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and add diced chicken. Cook for about 5 minutes on one side.
  3. Flip the chicken and continue cooking for another 3 minutes until slightly browned.
  4. Pour in the prepared sauce and lower the heat. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Assemble by placing the teriyaki chicken mixture into sweet gem lettuce leaves and top with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
